The duo met in and graduated from Brandeis University, and they have been writing partners for more than twenty years. Together they co-wrote and co-produced sitcoms like "Joey," "Veronica's Closet," and the Emmy Award-winning "Friends." Unbeknownst to many, the duo, along with Michael Skloff, also created musicals like the stage adaption of "Arthur," Outer Critics Award-winner "Personals," and "Rapunzel." Crane was born in 1957 and Kauffman was born in 1956.
